Marci Morden

Mrs. Marci Morden joined ACS in 2024 as the 6th-grade science and history teacher. Her teaching career began in the public-school setting as a 6th-grade teacher after receiving her BS in Speech Pathology and Audiology and an Elementary Teaching Credential. When it became time for her children to begin their education, she moved her educational practices from the classroom to her home, homeschooling for 15 years. While homeschooling, she joined co-ops and taught various classes such as writing, science, history, and literature to grades ranging from elementary to high school. Now that her homeschooling season has ended, she is grateful to be a member of the ACS family, sharing the truth and love of Christ through relationships, education, and service.
Mrs. Morden lives in Batavia with her husband, youngest child (of five), two cats, one dog, and six egg-laying chickens. Crossway Chapel in North Aurora is her home church. Her favorite activities are hanging out with her husband and children, hiking, camping, cooking yummy food, pickle-ball, and Bible study.
